Official Color Schemes for the State Template
The CA.GOV brand is available in a variety of color schemes. Organizations can choose any of the schemes shown below (regardless of your physical location). The color scheme on a particular page affects the logo and footer. All files related to color schemes are available in the downloads section.
The following color schemes have been tested for accessibility and contrast and are considered the official color schemes for use in the template. Departments are strongly encouraged to use these colors in their web designs. Other exceptions may be allowed on an individual basis with approval from the eServices Office. Requests will be approved in special instances when new color schemes have been rigorously tested for accessibility, proven they are harmonious with the statewide design, or for other reasons. Exemption requests should be sent to info@eservices.ca.gov.
